Princess Kate looking ‘picture-perfect’ in ‘absolutely gorgeous’ white dress

Princess Kate, who is the National Portrait Gallery’s patron, attended the inauguration following a three-year refurbishment, the biggest redevelopment the gallery has seen since 1896.

The Princess of Wales looked stylish in a white and black belted dress from Self Portrait and her black Aquazurra heels, the Aquazzura Bow Tie 105 Black Pumps.

Kate’s chic midi dress was the Bouclè and Georgette gown featuring a pleated skirt, which she combined with a black Chanel clutch and a pair of elegant pearl drop earrings.

Royal fans absolutely loved Kate’s outfit today and hundreds took to social media to share their thoughts.

On Twitter, @TribesBritannia commented: “A beautiful dress by Self-Portrait. The Princess of Wales looks radiant.”

The centre partners with local family hubs and nurseries to encourage creative learning at the Gallery, and during her visit, Kate was seen chatting to children taking part in a multi-sensory workshop focussing on the works of Beatrix Potter.
