Prince William was spotted dining in a Polish restaurant where dishes cost less than £10, a drastic contrast to Prince Harry’s recent visits to expensive Los Angeles establishments. Prince William has been in Poland this week to thank troops for supporting Ukraine and shocked members of the public when they saw him out to dinner at a popular LGBT diner.

On Wednesday, Prince William surprised diners when he arrived at the Butero Bistro, an LGBT restaurant in Warsaw, Poland and sat down for a cheap £7.37 meal with his staff.

He was seen eating with a group of Kensington Palace staff when a local snapped some pictures which they then shared on social media. In text alongside the photographs, the local wrote: “Warsaw can surprise. I ate dinner today with the Prince.”

The local added that was “interesting” that the Prince of Wales ate at a restaurant that is linked to the LGBT community.

He added: “It is valuable that he supported the community so abused by the current authorities in Poland.”

Prince Harry, on the other hand, has been dining in his new home, California, in the past weeks. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is known as a popular hang-out spot for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

The Polo Lounge’s menu is also known for its extravagance. Lamb chops and seafood risotto cost $85 (£69), a 4oz wagyu steak is priced at $190 (£154) while 1oz of Imperial caviar costs $290 (£190).

The most expensive item on the menu is the Anniversary McCarthy salad at $1,912 (£1,554), which comes with lobster and caviar topped with gold leaves, plus a glass of Dom Perignon champagne as well as a bottle of Vintage P2.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were also spotted at San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles in the last month. The pair were seen smiling at photographers as they entered the elite spot.

San Vicente Bungalows is known to host celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Celebrities can only join the elite club after being nominated by someone else already part of San Vicente Bungalows.

The membership of the club costs $1,800 (£1,463) a year for those under the age of 35 and $4,200 (£3,414) for those older. It also had strict rules that members are not allowed to post about the club on social media and guests are asked to cover their phone cameras with a sticker when they arrive.

The menu at the club offers many luxurious dishes, such as $52 (£42) for truffles and $54 (£42) for seared scallops or a New York strip steak. The most expensive dish on the menu is the New Zealand lamb chops at $56 (£45).

Salmon, shrimp, chicken, burrata and even steak can be added to any dish, and even the drinks are expensive as it costs $12 (£9.75) for green or carrot juice.
