Meghan Markle drops subtle hint she still has ‘little bit of love’ for Royal Family

Meghan Markle recently revealed her “whole new look” in a new video, but one royal expert has noticed a small detail that was the most significant and “noteworthy” part of the Duchess’s public appearance.

Miranda Holder, a celebrity stylist who is an expert on the details of royal fashion, said Meghan using her ‘Duchess’ title as she introduced a Ted event may mean there is hope for her future relationship with the Royal Family.

Meghan appeared in a TED Talk video to praise her close friend, photographer and activist Misan Harriman, who took some of the most famous photos of the Black Lives Matter movement.

In the video, she is introduced as “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex’ as she welcomes Mr Harriman to the stage to give his talk.

Mr Harriman also later used Meghan’s title. He wrote on Instagram: “The Duchess of Sussex was kind enough to introduce me unto the stage for my [Ted Talk]. Thank you for the support Meg.”

In a TikTok video, Miranda said it was “interesting” that Meghan was referred to by her royal title.

Miranda said: “Maybe there’s still a little bit of love for the Royal Family, you never know. Perhaps that book is not totally closed, I live in hope.”

Miranda commented on Meghan’s new look, and said: “It is perfectly natural when a woman goes through any kind of trauma, a break-up, a birth, or enters a new phase in her life, that they change their looks.

“In particular, their hair to match, which I think is exactly what Meghan has done here. She’s changed her hair.”

She said: “It’s super straight, it’s a little bit lighter, it’s very glossy and looks very glamorous.”

Miranda finished her video saying: “I totally understand Meghan’s wish to reinvent herself, and leave all that traumatic time in the past. You go girl!”

The Duchess of Sussex has recently been at the centre of row over King Charles III’s Coronation. Her decision not to attend the momentous occasion with Prince Harry has widely been viewed as a snub of the Royal Family.

But she is planning to stay in California to celebrate Prince Archie’s birthday – which happens to land on the same day as the Coronation.
