Her cousin Danny Smith, who grew up with her at Graceland, shared in a recent video on his YouTube channel Memphis Mafia Kid that as a child she tried to contact her father’s spirit. He said: “Lisa Marie, after Elvis passed away, held a séance to try and contact her daddy. Fact!”

Later in life, she held one during a birthday party on the retired Queen Mary ocean liner at Long Beach port in California. The séance took place in the empty pool in the ship’s basement.

Pete Yorn, who was in attendance, told Rolling Stone: “It was spooky. Everyone said it was haunted. My friend was in the room next to ours, and he swears that in the middle of the night, his music system turned on out of nowhere. It was a cool memory, but I didn’t sleep a wink.” On another occasion, she allegedly managed to “make contact” with her ex-husband Michael Jackson.

A year after Jackson’s death, beautician Karen Faye said she and Lisa Marie made contact with the Thriller singer’s “unsettled” spirit via a medium.

MJ’s former make-up artist said at the time: “He seemed to be on a mission to reach out to people in his life and be forgiven. Michael spent his time explaining his faults and wanting us to forgive him. He seemed unsettled.

“He seemed more jovial with Lisa. The psychic turned to me and said Michael is telling me, ‘You took such good care of me, and I am so sorry I hurt you so much.’ He said he should have listened to me more. It hit me straight in the heart.”
