At the time of writing, the official line-up for Reading and Leeds Festival 2024 has not yet been announced.

Last year saw some massive acts announced for the headline slots across the weekend, including Sam Fender, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Foals – and the crowning glory of the weekend: Billie Eilish.

The finalised line-up was confirmed around March 2023, just months before the event actually kicked off, so fans should not expect to see a full list of who’s playing until then.

With that said, the first acts were announced on December 9, 2022 – nine months before the events. So fans can (hopefully) expect to star hearing who’ll be hitting the stage from December 2023.

Although there is currently no word on who’ll be playing the festivals, there are already a number of rumours about who may be lined up to hit the stage.

The biggest rumour, at the moment, is that Taylor Swift could be filling the headline slot at Reading and Leeds Festival 2024. This would not be a massive surprise considering, at the time, she would be in the UK on her Eras Tour. Her final show in the UK and Europe kicks off on August 17, 2024, just a week before Reading and Leeds will presumably kick-off.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati confirmed that the odds are in her favour, at the time of writing, as the betting company gave her 4/1 on hitting the stages in both Reading and Leeds. 

Apati said: “There’s a blank space in Taylor Swift’s diary which has got Reading and Leeds Festival fans buzzing at the thought of a surprise appearance next year. While stranger things have definitely happened, we still think a Glastonbury slot is much more likely.”

The exact dates for Reading and Leeds Festival 2024 have not yet been announced.

However, the weekender usually takes place across the August bank holiday weekend in the UK – just as it did this year.
2024’s August bank holiday in the UK is on Monday, August 26.

As a result, Readings and Leeds Festival 2024 are both expected to begin from Friday, August 23, 2024, and run until Sunday, August 25, 2024.

However, these dates cannot be 100 percent confirmed until the festival bosses officially announce their dates.

In previous years, ticket information and announcements were dropped in the first few days of September – just days after the festivals came to an end. So fans should keep an eye out over the next few days if they want to keep up to date.

Last year, Reading and Leeds Festival 2023 tickets were available for around £286 for weekend tickets. Meanwhile, day tickets were priced up around £101 per ticket.

These ticket prices may go up for Reading and Leeds Festival 2024 as inflation is on the rise… but nothing concrete has been announced just yet.
