Jill Biden beams with Kate Middleton at palace reception

She wrote on her Twitter account: “Headed to the U.K. for the Coronation of King Charles III – the first in 70 years!

“It’s an honor to represent the United States for this historic moment and celebrate the special relationship between our countries.”

Jill arrived in the US yesterday wearing a hot pink coat.

She paired the coat with a matching jumper and $1,150 Christian Dior floral-print slingback heels. She met Akshata Murthy, the wife of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Her grand daughter Finnegan, 23, will be attending the Coronation with her, instead of her husband.

Finnegan is the daughter of Hunter Biden, and one of President Biden’s seven grandchildren.

His eldest grandchild Naomi married her husband Peter Neal in a lavish ceremony at the White House last year.
