‘I’m an influencer with 100,000 fans and adoring comments from admirers but I’m not real’

“Milla Sofia” is a fake, created using AI. Despite this fact, She now has more than 7,000 followers on her verified Twitter account, over 31,000 on Instagram, and 90,000 on TikTok.

The Twitter bio reads: “[I’m a] 19-year-old virtual girl from Helsinki Finland. I was made by AI. Check my other social media accounts from the link below.”

Sofia, known as @AiModelMilla on her verified Twitter account, may be a certified fake, but her followers can’t resist admiring her bikini photos regardless.

Under a recent post, in which the computer-generated image depicts the “model” in a gold dress, unsuspecting Twitter users have left gushing remarks.

One wrote: “Golden girl with a golden heart, good night beautiful angel.”

Another gushed: “Good night indeed. Wow. You look magnificent, marvelous, amazing, pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning and breathtaking.”

One, who doesn’t seem to realize “Milla” can’t ever go anywhere, implored: “Good night gorgeous. Please come to Uganda.”

One post on Twitter pretends the fake woman is in Greece, with the caption: “Still in Santorini, and I’m ‘Greek’-ing out over how to leave this paradise!”

This tweet has garnered over 35,000 views and 2,000 likes. One Twitter user couldn’t help but comment: “Wow, look at you, so stunningly beautiful with a gorgeous smile.”

Another ardent admirer wrote: “Thanks for another great view of Santorini! You look marvelous, amazing, pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, and breathtaking in a white bikini. (…) You have a wonderful megawatt smile. Thank you.”

Sofia also has her own website, which includes an education section stating that she has been studying at the University of Life since June 2023.

The section, pretending to be written by the young woman, reads: “Being an AI-generated virtual influencer ain’t your typical educational path, but let me tell you, I’m always on the grind, learning and evolving through fancy algorithms and data analysis. I’ve got this massive knowledge base programmed into me, keeping me in the loop with the latest fashion trends, industry insights, and all the technological advancements.”
