A skincare enthusiast has shared four simple ways you can age backwards that will only take 10 to 20 minutes of your daily routine.

The tips come from the content creator behind the TikTok account @allyoucanface, who claims that her objective isn’t to reinforce a fear of ageing but to make the most of her appearance at every age.

She disclosed at the beginning of her clip: “Did you know you can look 10 years younger by only spending five to 10 minutes a day? Before I shared my four hacks I wanted to let you know I’m in my 30s myself.”

The beauty fan starts by discussing the benefits of daily sunscreen application, which countless dermatologists stress the importance of.

The topical cream prevents UVA rays from degrading elastin and collagen in the epidermis. These two crucial components maintain the rigidity of the skin.

Failure to use sunscreen has been proven in several studies to lead to the loss of elasticity, thus paving the way for the wrinkling of the skin.

What we put in our bodies is equally important, however, the dermatologist stresses. She added: “Try to avoid sugary and starchy foods.”

The third tip involves a combination of factors; such as getting sunlight exposure early in the morning, sleeping at least seven to eight hours per night, and exercising regularly. 

“If you move your body you enhance lymphatic drainage,” she explained. “It not only enhances that but also happy hormones.”

Last but not least, beauty experts endorse the habit of releasing the tension in the face with the help of facial massages.

“This will not only help you release wrinkles, where they accumulate due to muscle spasms, but will also relax your head, and therefore can also reduce headaches.”

Though facial tension is rarely discussed as a driver of the ageing process, it can have a significant impact on the appearance of a face.
