Queen and Adam Lambert are halfway through their North American tour and recently played in Nashville, Tennessee.

As previously teased by the band, their Rhapsody show of the last few years is forever being twigged with a new segment added especially for the USA and Canada.

Taking to his Instagram, Sir Brian May shared the epic footage of himself performing with state-of-the-art graphics behind him to help tell a story.

The 76-year-old star captioned the posted: “Thanks dear folks in Nashville ! A great night.

“And I’m thrilled that people (generally not reviewers, although bless them !) are now beginning to twig the fact that this QAL show has an emerging narrative – something we never did before.”

Sir Brian continued: “The story that our little Robots are telling – the Last Tree In the Universe … the Clock … ( and destroying Planet Earth, as here!) are all now connecting in a way that I was dreaming they would.

“I don’t think this clip is too much of a spoiler if you haven’t seen the show yet —- but it’s a moment which is still developing – and last night connected beat yet. Thanks folks for your reassuring response !!! Rock ! My thanks for this clip to my dear ol’ pal paul.crook.music —- Bri.”

Queen and Adam Lambert perform the first of two nights in Saint Paul, Minnesota this evening. They’ll then head on to Chicago for two shows on Monday and Tuesday, before a couple in Dallas.

Then it’s on to Denver and San Francisco before a couple of final concerts in Los Angeles on November 11 and 12. And then in February, it’s on to Japan for five concerts. Here’s hoping they’ll be back in the UK before too long.
