Blade Runner Live goes on UK tour with live synth performance of Vangelis | Films | Entertainment

Blade Runner is one of the most important science-fiction films of all time.

Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford, this adaptation of a Philip K Dick novel is set in the distant future of 2019, where Rick Deckard is tasked with hunting down rogue simulants.

The picture, which was originally released in 1982, has become a cult classic and a commercial hit over the past 40 years.

And this September, Blade Runner: The Final Cut is hitting cinema screens around Great Britain with live synthesiser performances of Vangelis’ original score and soundtrack.

Hitting Glasgow, Manchester, London, Birmingham, Brighton and Bournemouth, this is an event that fans will not want to miss out on. Tickets are out this week, here’s all the information you need.
