Kate Middleton wears Diana’s earrings and fabulous green outfit at Trooping The Colour

Princess Diana’s engagement ring, which was given to Kate when she and Prince William became engaged in 2010, is identical in style to the earrings.

Kate also accessorised with the Irish Guards Shamrock Brooch today, which was perfectly apt.

The brooch’s surface is textured, and a single emerald is placed at the centre of the shamrock.

Kate’s brooch may date to 2000, when the regiment celebrated its 100th birthday. That year, the Queen Mother, who presented shamrocks to the regiment on St. Patrick’s Day each year, also celebrated her 100th birthday.
